Robert Normandeau

By Edward Blake

Described as 'acousmatic' music (like… whatever), Sonars is audio-experimentation given a wide vision, more so than the usual self-centered experience that Isolationist music presents. The music is collage-heavy at times, a bustle of space and tension that can soon throw you into a pretty tense state – so this isn't recommended to the tired or stressed. But beneath the heavy atmosphere there are some pleasingly strange sounds and melodies going on. Mainly sounds mind you.
