Some of the titles would lead you to think that Four Tet wasn't particularly fussed about trying to break new musical ground; Leila Came Round And We Watched A Video and Everything Is Alright don't exactly shout 'tormented artistic soul' at you. Still, sarcasm is an unjust reward for such an honest musical approach. Pause is a lovely album – organic trip hop that delves into bric-a-brac audio and comes out shining like oriental sunbeams.
