Christ, the radio stations in Iceland must be pretty adventurous if this is the kind of thing they play. At just 18 years old, Jonas Thor Gudmundsson is a mere slip of a lad, but he's already mastered the art of marrying electronic breakbeats to glacial, ice-cool (sorry) washes and chords. Trouble is, on the strength of Radio anyway, that's about all he's mastered and really it ain't enough to make for a full-length album. There's much here to be applauded and there's nothing you could actually point to as bad, but it is a case of stretching one trick too far. An album to be dipped into, then, if anything.
