Percolator
By Masta G

The Big Dada website coyly describes this new 7 as ragga disco, clearly hoping that people might not realise it's actually garage. Whatever you want to call it, the bass-heavy two-step sound of Percolator demonstrates that Wayne Bennett has plenty of different strings to his bow. Its catchy violin sample and more poppy feel will make sure that Earl J's chorus of 'Let me see you bubble now / dance on the double now' won't go unheeded. Wayne Paul, who's soulful falsetto brings to mind Michael Jackson, collaborates with Aurelius for an equally effective version on the AA side. Can't wait to hear the album.
