A three-part series only partially covered by the review CD, so for all I know there could be some real honkers on there… But this is good, real damn good – in that special Rephlex way. It opens with the sound of a tennis game, which by the end has mutated into a fireworks display complete with 'ooohs' and 'aaahs' and the smell of hotdogs and stale lager floating through the air. Before long I'm walking an invisible peapod round my room trying to avoid stepping on Ghandi, who's just turned into a big bubble of orange glue. The sounds of the super soft synth swells in track two have all the gangster kids from outside my window crying, hugging and confessing about the time they fucked each other's girlfriends, then the good vibes are smashed to pieces by cavernous distobeats. TURN IT FUCKING UP!!!
