Japanese techno is intrinsically linked with the name of Ken Ishi. His productions, never easily pigeonholed by the music press, have always been known as much for their ambient and tonal qualities as for their beats and melodies. Never afraid to experiment on stage, his live sets are legendary and his reputation as a DJ – well, a Twilo residency says it all really.

For the last couple of years he has released under the FLR moniker, aiming squarely at the dancefloor and achieving critical acclaim. This CD collects the various twelves together, mixing between the disco house of Part 6 and the fantastic Surgeon-esque techno of Part 1, with the inclusion of three previously unreleased tracks.
