Black Faction
Internal Dissident Part 1“..since then I’ve been waiting to grab you by the hair, and pull you down … where you will hear harsh noises of despair…” Well, I say! As sleeve notes go, this quote is fairly misleading. This album, though dense, dark and muscular, is not despairing. Rather, it is as captivatingly inventive as Re:Load’s eponymous album, and also follows the thread of a story through a mutating hour-long stream of sound, evolving and dissolving into tracks, ambience and disembodied voices like a soundtrack without the film. And with such imaginative music, it’s not hard to create your own.
